Our ingredients are organic where possible, those that are not are sourced from small artisan producers passionate about their product but not always with the funds for certification.
We are not a business that shouts about its products with extravagantly costly advertising campaigns. We are proud to have grown through word of mouth and recommendation thus saving the cost of advertising to invest in more devine ingredients for your skin. The explanation of this principle is simple - If you like our products we grow, if you dont we fail. To date we are still expanding year on year, despite these financially challenging times. Clearly a very good sign we must be doing something right!
In 2005 the idea for Innocent Oils started to form with just one lone product, our 100% Hemp Seed Oil, still as popular as ever and the reason we have been able to develop more products to join in along the way. My goodness we have come along way since then, and we stand proudly behind each and every jar and bottle we have ever produced.

We work for you, not for an accountant or bank manager. Therefore we are able to produce what we believe to be the very best 100% truly natural skin care available, made without compromise.
In the last century we seem to have lost touch with the healing power of the plants, which have been used successfully throughout history to calm, heal, and restore the body's natural balance, which is a real shame. At Innocent Oils we aim to help restore some of this lost understanding for generations to come.
We pride ourselves on being able to create truly natural skin care products without compromising on effectiveness. Importantly our entire range is Vegan Society Registered, GMO and synthetic additive free.
Our ingredients have where possible been grown using organic farming methods and are carefully researched to ensure the source is environmentally sound.
Hemp Seed Oil is at the core of Innocent Oils and from which the business has grown.
Sadly the media have caused much confusion throughout the 20th century, and much misinformation has created unnecessary concerns about using hemp seed oil. Helen the owner and founder of Innocent Oils did not want this to become an issue with her products. It is for this reason the hemp leaf is not used as a symbol on of any of the products, and nor does she wish to make any political statements regarding the legalisation of Hemp's psychoactive illegal sister plant commonly known as Cannabis or Hashish.
Innocent Oils 100% vegan natural skin care is here to provide the best nature has to offer the skin, whilst supporting the environment in which we live.
At Innocent Oils we only use 100% natural oils, butters and botanical waxes to create our wholly innocent hand blended botanical skin care products.
You will not find any nasty harsh ingredients or cheap bulking agents in our innocent products.
Throughout history the beauty industry has been bombarded with new synthetic chemicals which serve no good purpose for the body. These harsh chemicals are often added to commercial products for stability, look, and smell, and to last on the store shelves for extended periods of time, often way beyond 3-5 years for commercial products.
Many of these synthetic nasties have not been long term tested for safety when absorbed in combination by the human body and there is little sign of this happening any time soon.
Mankind has made fantastic medicinal discoveries using synthetic products, and we have no objection to the use of modern medicines when no better natural alternatives are available.
