About Us

In the last century we seem to have lost touch with the healing power of the plants, which have been
used successfully throughout history to calm, heal and restore the body's natural balance, and this is
a real shame.
At Innocent Oils we aim to restore some of this lost understanding for generations to come. We pride
ourselves on being able to create truly natural skin care products without compromising on
effectiveness, and most importantly our entire range is as natural as nature intended, Vegan Society
Registered and entirely synthetic chemical free.

Our ingredients have where possible been grown using organic farming methods, and carefully
researched to ensure the source is environmentally sound.

You may notice a distinct lack of reference to the use of organic ingredients unless necessary. The
reason for this is that we have no wish to add to the growing confusion over the blurred definitions of
'natural and organic' wording.

Hemp Seed Oil is at the core of Innocent Oils and from which the company has grown. Innocent Oils
is about reviving this ancient, giving, wholesome, plant. Re-educating those wishing to learn about
this most sustainable and life supporting gift of nature.
Sadly the media have caused much confusion throughout the 20th century, and the misinformed may
have unnecessary concerns about using hemp seed oil. Helen did not want this to become an issue
with her Innocent Oils products before they had even been tried on the skin.
It is for this reason that we do not use the hemp leaf of any of our products, and nor do we wish to
make any political statements regarding the legalisation of Hemp's psychoactive sister plant
commonly known as Cannabis or Hashish.

whilst supporting the environment in which we live.

therapeutic skin care oils, balms and scrubs....
You will not find any nasty toxins, or bulking agents in our products. Only the finest, pure and

We do not allow the use of water to make creams, the reason for this is quite simple - if water
is used, it must be preserved to prevent mould and harmful bacteria deteriorating the product. There
are many products out there which are preserved using various botanical ingredients such as
essential oils and herbs, but in reality these ingredients although they are somewhat effective - are
not proven to protect full spectrum against bacteria etc, as is necessary to ensure the safety for the
end user. At Innocent Oils we would rather not risk potential harm to our customers, however slight
the chances may be. Our Innocent Masks and Scrubs are dry mix powders ready for you the
customer to mix with your own supply of fresh water or floral water, as you prefer.

Throughout history the beauty industry has been bombarded with chemicals which serve no good
purpose for the body. Toxic chemicals are added to make commercial products stable, look and
smell good, and last on the store shelves for extended periods of time, often up to 3 years. Many of
these chemicals have not been long term tested for safety when absorbed in combination by the
human body.

Innocent Oils products are produced by hand, using only the finest truly natural ingredients.

Our ethical policy is to create the very best skin care that nature has to offer, not use hype and fancy
wording to enhance the appearance of our product. Our products speak for themselves, and our
customers are happy to let us know how well they work for them. Not to mention they will let us
know if they are unhappy in any way too.
We work for our customers, and not for an accountant or bank manager. As such, we are able to
provide what we believe to be the best 100% natural innocent skin care available, and will continue to
do so as we grow with you. Innocent Oils has no outside funding, and continues to grow organically
through sheer hard work, carefully planned reinvestment, and most of all with thanks to you, our
wonderfully loyal customers.

Mankind has made fantastic medicinal discoveries using synthetic products and we have no
objection to the use of modern medicines, when no better natural alternatives are available.

Our concern is that in today's world we rely far too heavily on unnecessary additives, such as toxic
preservatives, petrochemical industry by-products and highly refined ingredients. All added in one
form or another to 99% of the skin care products on the market.
Innocent Oils products are fresh, and living and are intended to be used, not stored for lengthy
periods of time.

If you are already using prescribed medicines please check with your GP or qualified professional
first if at all concerned.

your system in the long term. By avoiding skin care products containing petrochemcials and
