Innocent Oils make traditional Cold Processed Hemp Soap with no Palm Oil added.

Our Hemp Soaps use the same wonderful botanical ingredients. You choose if you prefer a heart to hold in
the bath or shower or a hand cut bar of soap. It's up to you they are both extremely gentle and feel great on
the skin right to the very last sliver.

No pre-manufactured Melt & Pour bases are used in the creation of any of our Innocent Hemp Soaps.
Our recipes are our own, forumlated from scratch and made in small batches to ensure that you receive the finest,
freshest innocent hemp soap available. It is then wrapped in 100% unbleached compostable parchment and tree free
hemp paper finished off with a natural Raffia Tie.

We have been randomly testing our soaps on our customers to be sure that we have just the right formulation for
your needs. The feedback we have received has been a resounding YES to Innocent Hemp Soap and we have to
agree. Hemp is without doubt one of the finest botanical oils avaialable to soap makers for its wonderful skin caring
properties.

A word about sodium hydroxide - do not be alarmed, Sodium hydroxide does not remain in the finished
bar because it has fully reacted with the oils and fats to be chemically changed via a process known as
Saponification into pure soap and glycerin.
Sodium Hydroxide is made up of Sodium, Hydrogen, and Oxygen. Together they make a strong alkali substance.
During the soap making process the atoms break up into their individual elements then recombine with the fats and
water to create the soap and glycerine during the traditional soap making process known as Saponification. For
example Cocoa Butter becomes Sodium Cocoate after it has gone through the saponification process.

Any soap which states it has not been made using Lye ie: Sodium Hydroxide or Potassium Hydroxide you can be sure
you are buying a detergent bar, containing a harsh skin drying ingredients such as SLS.
You will be surprised how many detergent based soap bars and melt & pour soaps are out there under the
guise of real soap!

Pre manufactured detergent and melt & pour based soap may look pretty and smell delicious, and if that is what you
are looking for then of course feel free to use it, they do clean effectively all the same.

However, if you are looking for real genuine soap made from scratch, with all the benefits a real soap has to offer
the skin, then look no further. Especially those with dry sensitive skin conditions, you will notice the difference
