O'Dough tubs and packaging are 100% biodegradable
O'Dough is recommended for children and adults over the age of 36 months and Vegan Society Registered. We use certified organic ingredients to make ODough, but are unable to obtain Soil Association Certification because it is a toy, not a foodstuff or cosmetic product.
We avoid ingredients which commonly may affect behaviour or human health should the product be nibbled by a curious little one or grown up but the salt content is harmful to pets.
Natural Food Colouring vs Artificial :
Artificial colors are made up of tar derivatives, long chain hydrocarbons and other petrochemicals which are of no use to the human body.
Medical Studies have shown that some artificial colors have been linked to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Asthma and Hives when taken internally through food and drink. Therefore we use natural, food safe and environmentally friendly colours.
O'Dough complies with BS EN-71 European Toy Safety regulations
